Training plane crashes during emergency landing in India

A private company's training plane crashed while making an emergency landing at Baramati airport in Pune district of Maharashtra, India. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
The accident took place at around 12:35 pm on Sunday (August 9), a short distance from the runway within the boundaries of Baramati airport.
According to reports, the plane suffered minor damage in the accident. However, the people on board are safe.
Accident during emergency landing
According to initial information, the plane was trying to make an emergency landing. At that time, it crashed near the runway.
After the incident, the airport authorities and concerned officials monitored the situation. A detailed investigation has been launched to find out the exact cause of the accident.
There have been previous plane accidents in Baramati
On January 28 this year, five people, including the then Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, were killed in a Learjet 45 plane crash near the same airport.
The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is investigating the accident. The final report of the investigation is expected to be submitted by January next year.
Another training aircraft crashed near Baramati on May 13. Before landing near Gojubavi village, a part of the aircraft hit an electric pole. However, the trainee pilot survived the incident.
Initially, the police said that the aircraft was flying at a low altitude due to a mechanical fault.
