Iran's strong message: 'Secret traitors must be held accountable'

Iran has issued a strong warning against secret betrayal or secret traitors. In a message on social media, the country's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai said that those who betray secretly will be revealed to the public one day.
In the message, which quoted a traditional Arabic proverb, he did not name any person or country. However, Iran's strong position came to the fore soon after a recent statement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Netanyahu recently claimed that he secretly visited the United Arab Emirates during the US and Israeli military campaign against Iran. After his statement was made public, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reacted strongly.
Although Araghchi did not directly name any country, he said that taking a stand against the Iranian people and engaging in secret cooperation with Israel is an 'unforgivable crime'. He also warned that those who are making secret agreements with the aim of creating division will one day have to face accountability.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates government has directly denied the claim of Netanyahu's alleged secret visit. According to political analysts, although not mentioning names, this recent message from Iran mainly indicates a new debate about secret relations and diplomatic positions in regional geopolitics.
