Amid the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and Europe, Turkey has revealed its new generation of military technology and weapons systems. It showcases several advanced defense systems, including intercontinental ballistic missiles.
The new missile presented by Turkey at the exhibition is called 'Yildirimhan'. It is an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) model, which has a potential range of about 6,000 kilometers and is capable of carrying a maximum warhead of up to 3,000 kilograms.
At the same event, Turkey's top defense technology company Baykar unveiled three new low-cost kamikaze drones. These are designed to increase the ability to strike accurately at low cost in modern battlefields.
On the other hand, the country's defense industry company Aselsan announced the supply of 150 components for its new 'Steel Dome' air defense system, which is expected to play an important role in external air defense.
The exhibition also showcased unmanned watercraft and submarine technology, which will add a new dimension to Turkey's naval defense capabilities.
According to experts, these advanced military technologies could create opportunities for exports to Western allies including NATO in the future. It is expected that Turkey's position in the regional and global defense industry will be further strengthened.
