The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah has carried out at least 11 separate strikes targeting Israeli troops intruding into southern Lebanon in the past 24 hours. The group said drones, rockets and artillery were used in the attacks.
In a statement published on Telegram, Hezbollah claimed that Israeli forces continued to attack civilians despite the US-brokered ceasefire. The strikes were carried out in response and to protect Lebanon and its people.
According to Hezbollah, the strikes targeted Israeli troops stationed in the areas of Naqoura, Biada, Kantara and Houla, as well as a military base in the city of Blat. At least six of the 11 strikes took place in the city of Biada.
