Tehran criticized by US for hiding the cost of the military operation against Iran

The country's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has alleged that the real cost of the military operation against Iran is being hidden. In a post on the social media 'X' on Friday (May 1), he claimed that the economic pressure on the United States due to this war is many times higher than the figures published by Washington.

According to Araghchi, due to the policies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the direct cost of the United States has already reached about $ 100 billion, which is four times the amount mentioned in the official accounts. He directly complained that the Pentagon is hiding the real picture of this cost.
Highlighting its impact on American citizens, he also said that the indirect cost of the war is also increasing rapidly and its pressure is falling on the common people. He claimed that currently, each American family has an average monthly burden of about $ 500 extra, which is gradually increasing.
At the end of his speech, he sarcastically said that the real meaning of the 'Israel First' policy is 'America Last'. Through this, he strongly criticized the foreign policy of the United States.
It is worth noting that the situation became more heated after the attack on the top leadership of Iran in late February of this year. Due to this, tensions between Iran and the United States and Israel increased, and both sides took reciprocal military actions.
