Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the US lifts its blockade on Iranian ports. In a statement, they said that any ship entering this important waterway will be considered cooperation with the enemy and if necessary, these ships will be attacked.

The statement made on Saturday evening local time said that anyone moving towards the Strait of Hormuz in violation of the ban will not be tolerated. In this situation, it is expected that the situation may become more tense.

Earlier, Iran officially opened the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, but the US continued its blockade. In response, Tehran closed the strait again within a day. Iran complained that it was forced to take this decision because the US repeatedly broke its promises.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also said in its statement that the US has not lifted the naval blockade on Iranian ships and ports in violation of the ceasefire agreement. As a result, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the blockade is lifted.

Meanwhile, a warning has been sent to ships in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. They have been instructed not to move from their anchorages.

On the other hand, Iranian President Bagher Ghalibaf has described the US blockade as an unreasonable and reckless decision. He said that if Iranian ships cannot use the Strait of Hormuz, ships of any other country will not be able to use this route either.

According to analysts, the tension surrounding the Strait of Hormuz could have a major impact on global energy supplies and trade, as it is one of the world's most important waterways.
