China has warned of retaliation in response to the threat of possible US tariffs

US President Donald Trump has accused China of facing an additional 50 percent tariff if it provides military aid to Iran. He also claimed that the US could impose “staggering” new tariffs on Chinese goods due to its support for Tehran.
At the time, he warned that if China helps Iran, the country will face major economic pressure. At the same time, he alleged that China is helping Iran with air defense systems—although he did not disclose evidence of this.
On the other hand, China has rejected the accusation as “false and baseless.” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said that the news of supplying weapons to Iran is a complete rumor. If tariffs are imposed based on such false allegations, China will also take strong countermeasures.
China also said that it always abides by strict laws and international rules and follows a responsible policy in military exports.
According to analysts, the trilateral tension between the United States, China, and Iran could further complicate global trade and geopolitical situations.
