Tensions have flared up again over the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in the Middle East. Iran has warned that if the US tries to impose a naval blockade, it will fail. This response comes in the wake of US President Donald Trump's recent threat.

Mohsen Rezaei, a senior military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader, said that the US has not been successful in the Strait of Hormuz in the past and the same outcome will happen this time too. He claimed that Iran's armed forces will not allow any such blockade to be implemented and are ready to respond to any kind of aggression.

Rezaei, who has served as the IRGC's chief commander for a long time, also said that Iran has "significant undeclared military capabilities" that will be used if necessary. He warned that Iran cannot be controlled by pressure in any way.

Currently, concerns are growing throughout the region over this situation. According to analysts, any military escalation in the Strait of Hormuz could cause a major disruption to global energy supplies and could also have an impact on the global economy.
