Israeli and US forces have carried out massive airstrikes across Iran overnight. At least 15 people have been killed. This information was reported in a live report by Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera on Tuesday (April 7).
According to local media, six bodies have been recovered from the rubble after an attack on a building in the city of Pardis in eastern Tehran. In addition, nine more people were killed in an airstrike on a residential building in the Shahriar area of western Tehran province.
It is feared that civilian casualties are increasing in different parts of Iran in the ongoing conflict. The war, which has been going on for 39 days, has already caused many deaths and infrastructure destruction.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has once again issued a stern warning. He has escalated the situation by hinting at attacks on important facilities including power plants and bridges in Iran.
According to analysts, if the counterattacks continue, the conflict in the Middle East could become more widespread and long-lasting.
