Iran has announced that it will close the important sea route, the Strait of Hormuz, to all countries due to the ongoing conflict. However, Tehran said that only Chinese ships have been allowed to use the strait as an exception.

Iran has said that if any other country's ships try to pass through the strait without permission, it could be at great risk. The country's powerful military, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has claimed that it has control of the entire strait and has the ability to launch missile or drone attacks if necessary.

The Strait of Hormuz, which is very important for world trade, connects the ports of the Persian Gulf to the open sea. About 20 percent of global oil supplies are transported through this route. A large amount of oil and fuel reaches Asian markets, especially China and India, from here.

According to analysts, if this route is closed for a long time, then there could be major instability in the global energy market and oil prices could rise rapidly.

Meanwhile, China has expressed concern about the situation and called on all parties to maintain security and stability in the strait. At the same time, Beijing has also said that it will take necessary steps to ensure its own energy security.

Earlier, China strongly condemned the US and Israeli air strikes on Iran. The country's Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that violating international law and escalating the war is unacceptable in any way. He called for a quick resolution of the crisis through dialogue.
