Petronas Towers 3 in Kuala Lumpur

A fire broke out at Petronas Towers 3 in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on Saturday morning. According to reports, the fire started in a restaurant at the top of the building.
The Star reported, citing local media Bernama, that Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department Director and Senior Assistant Commissioner Hassan Asari Omar confirmed the fire. He said that no one was injured during the fire.
Omar added that fire service personnel quickly arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control and are currently extinguishing the fire.
Meanwhile, photos and videos of the fire have quickly spread on social media. The video shows black smoke billowing from the multi-storey building.
Petronas Towers 3, locally known as ‘Menara Karigali’, is a 60-storey building. It is located next to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur.
