Modi's support and National Day greetings to the Prime Minister of Nepal.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Nepal's newly appointed interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki. He also assured India's full support in efforts to restore peace and stability in the country after the recent Gen-G protests in Nepal.
This information was revealed on Narendra Modi's verified Facebook page on Thursday. Modi wrote in the status that he had a warm conversation with Sushila Karki and expressed his heartfelt condolences to her for the recent tragic loss of life in Nepal. He also conveyed India's unwavering support to Sushila Karki's efforts to restore peace and stability in Nepal.
The Indian Prime Minister also greeted the people of Nepal on the occasion of Nepal's National Day, September 19.
Earlier, on the night of September 12, former Chief Justice of Nepal Sushila Karki took oath as the interim Prime Minister. Upon assuming office, she said that the country will hold national elections within the next six months under the leadership of the interim government. Shortly after taking oath, he announced the dissolution of parliament.
India's support is being seen as a major international psychological support for the Sushila Karki government amid the ongoing political unrest in Nepal.
