Houthi drone attack on Israel's nuclear facility!

Yemen's Houthi rebels have unleashed a new wave of deadly attacks on Israeli skies. On September 15, they carried out a strategic attack on the Negev region, where Israel's nuclear facility, the Negev Nuclear Research Center, is located. The attack used tactical drones and missiles that challenged Israel's defense systems—the Iron Dome and Patriot systems.
The Houthi attack hit a military base in the Negev region. The Yemeni armed forces claimed that they attacked Ramon Airport and targets in the Negev region with four suicide drones. However, they did not disclose any information about whether Israel's nuclear facility was damaged.
Houthi spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sari said that three drones hit Ramon Airport during the attack and the fourth hit a military base in the Negev region. He said the strike successfully hit a specific target.
The Houthis see their support for the Palestinians as a moral obligation. They say Israel’s brutality against the Palestinians will not dampen their morale. Earlier, on September 13, they launched a ‘Palestine 2’ hypersonic ballistic missile at the southern city of Jaffa, which can carry 500 kg of explosives at a speed of 16 Mach per hour.
While the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed to have intercepted the missiles launched by the Houthis, such attacks have raised fresh questions about Israel’s air defense capabilities and the security of its nuclear facilities.
History shows that the Houthis have been carrying out similar attacks for months, mainly targeting Israeli military installations and important targets. This time, the attack near the nuclear facility highlighted both their strategic capabilities and the limitations of Israel’s air defenses.
