Iran demonstrates power in space, strategic message clear

Iran not only demonstrated technological progress but also sent a strategic message to the world by launching a satellite into space. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has successfully sent a satellite into suborbital orbit using a launch vehicle named 'Qaseed'. According to analysts, this launch is a reflection of Iran's military capabilities and strategic objectives.

Sina Azodi, an assistant professor and Middle East analyst at the Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, said that Iran is not only increasing its capabilities, but is also clearly sending a message of power. According to her, such launches can help achieve proficiency in ballistic missile technology - which creates an opportunity to increase military power without any conflict.

Iran claims that this is part of their space research. However, Western analysts consider it part of a military strategy. Former British Army officer Andrew Fox said that this launch indicates that Iran's long-term military plans are still in place and that they are trying to maintain their power through alternative means.

Washington researcher Fatima Al-Asra believes that the same technology can be used to launch satellites and long-range missiles. In her words, each space launch increases Iran's long-range strike capability.

Kasra Arabi, a researcher at the US think tank United Against Nuclear Iran, said that the 'Qaseed' launch is a kind of warning to Europe. According to her, it is time to re-enact the UN snapback sanctions after this incident.

Although some of Iran's missiles were destroyed during the war, this satellite launch showed that they are still strategically steadfast. They are determined not only to ensure their own security, but also to expand their regional influence.
