The death march in the interior of India's border areas has been prolonged due to Pakistan's retaliatory artillery and missile attacks. This counter-attack by Pakistan began after a previous operation by India. On Tuesday night, India launched missile attacks inside Pakistan to avenge a terrorist attack in the Pehalgaon area. The country's government claimed that at least 26 Pakistani civilians were killed in this.

A spokesman for the Pakistani government said, "Our defense forces carried out limited counter-attacks as part of self-defense in response to Indian aggression." Pakistan has also claimed to have shot down at least five Indian fighter jets that took part in the attack. However, there has been no official response from India on this issue.
