Dr. Muhammad Yunus arrives in Dubai to participate in the World Government Summit!

Dubai: Principal Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on a two-day visit to participate in the World Government Summit-2025. He arrived in Dubai at 11:15 pm local time on Wednesday (February 12), said the Principal Advisor's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam.
He was welcomed by UAE Sports Minister Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi. They thanked Dr. Yunus for attending the summit and discussed the summit in detail. The possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of sports and culture were also discussed.
Foreign Affairs Advisor Towhid Hossain, Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Tariq Ahmed, and UAE Ambassador to Dhaka Abdullah Ali Khasef Al Hamoudi were present at the meeting.
Principal Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus accepted the invitation from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on January 13. This year's conference will focus on enhancing effective partnerships between governments and global cooperation.
Dr. Yunus' participation in the conference will provide an opportunity to highlight Bangladesh's international standing and the country's role in various global issues.
