Tech moguls Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg will attend Donald Trump's inauguration next week, NBC News reported on Tuesday.
Sources say the three will be on stage with Trump's cabinet nominees at the inauguration on January 20. The initiative is part of their efforts to build a closer relationship with President Trump.
SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk currently owns the social media platform X. He is known as a close ally of Trump and a supporter of his right-wing politics. Trump has already appointed Musk to co-chair an advisory commission to cut government spending and reduce bureaucracy.
Mark Zuckerberg has scrapped the fact-checking process by formulating new policies for Meta, which has sparked controversy among many. On the other hand, The Washington Post, owned by Bezos, has surprised by taking a neutral stance in recent elections.
The presence of these three entrepreneurs carries important messages in the technology and political worlds, which is expected to further consolidate their strategic position.
