Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari announced the end of short and precise attacks on Iran by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The IDF announced this in a statement after the country's capital Tehran and its neighboring city of Karaj were shelled for 4 to 5 hours.

The statement said, “Our offensive phase is over and the operation is successful. The attack was carried out by the Israel Defense Forces in response to previous attacks. Our fighter jets have returned safely."

In the statement, the IDF said that the attack, which lasted for several hours, destroyed Iran's main missile factory and several Iranian missiles aimed at Israel. The statement said, "Iran's main missile factory has been hit. All the missiles that the country's military has fired at Israel since last year have been manufactured at that factory."

"Furthermore, the surface-to-air missiles that Iran had deployed during the night to disrupt the movement of the Israeli air force were also destroyed."

Israeli forces have been conducting operations in Gaza for more than a year to neutralize the armed political group Hamas, which controls the Palestinian Gaza Strip. Since last September, the IDF has also launched an operation against Hezbollah, an ally of Hamas and the armed Islamist group based in Lebanon.

After the start of the campaign in Lebanon, Israel launched a missile attack targeting Israel on the night of October 1 to warn Israel. That night, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the elite wing of Iran's military, fired about 200 ballistic missiles at various Israeli installations.

However, the IDF was able to destroy most of the Iranian missiles before they hit the target through anti-missile systems. Therefore, Israel did not suffer any damage in the October 1 attack.

In an address to the nation on October 2, the day after the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel will respond to this attack on Iran. On the other hand, on October 3, Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian said in an exchange meeting with journalists in Qatar that if Israel does not stop military operations in Gaza and Lebanon, such attacks will occur again in the near future.

Due to these opposing positions of both sides, there is a fear of spreading tension and war in the Middle East. Today's attack was carried out by the Israel Defense Forces amid this fear.
