There have been gun attacks on pedestrians in the United States. At least four people were killed. Many more people were injured. The death toll occurred after mass shootings in Birmingham, Alabama, in the North American country.

At least four people have been killed and dozens injured in a mass shooting in Birmingham, Alabama, police said.
Birmingham Police Officer Truman Fitzgerald said "multiple gunmen opened fire on a group of people" in the city's Five Points South area late Saturday night local time.
Police recovered the bodies of two men and a woman at the scene and the fourth victim died of gunshot wounds at the hospital, he said.
Fitzgerald also said detectives are investigating whether the gunmen walked or drove to the victims. No suspects have been arrested yet.
Many people spend night time in the Five Points South District area.
Fitzgerald told reporters of the casualties: “We have dozens of people from this area who have been injured by gunfire. I am told that at least four of the gunshot victims are in a critical condition."
