Dog's owner surprised by making his own vaccine to prevent cancer

Australian tech entrepreneur Paul Cunningham has created an example of an unexpected combination of technology and medicine. He used modern artificial intelligence to save his beloved dog 'Rosie'—and that yielded promising results. He himself created a personalized mRNA vaccine for Rosie, who was suffering from deadly mast cell cancer.
After not getting the expected results with conventional treatments, Cunningham started looking for a new path. He analyzed the DNA of Rosie's tumor using advanced AI tools like ChatGPT and AlphaFold. Then, based on that information, he created a customized treatment method, which is mainly dependent on mRNA technology.
In this process, the DNA of Rosie's tumor was first sequenced and converted into data. Then, with the help of AI, a potential treatment plan was created by identifying problematic genetic characteristics. Cunningham claims that AI gave him important guidance throughout the entire process.
Within six weeks of starting treatment, Rosie's body showed visible improvements. The tumor had shrunk by almost half and she was much more active than before. Where she had previously been unable to move due to weakness, she was now running around—which was surprising even to her owner.
However, Cunningham himself admitted that this is not a permanent solution to cancer. But this method has played a major role in improving Rosie's lifespan and quality of life. He had to spend several months getting ethical and legal approval to implement this initiative.
Experts believe that this incident has brought to the fore the possibility of using AI in personalized medicine and cancer therapy. The combination of artificial intelligence and genetic technology can open up new horizons in the treatment of complex diseases in the future—Rosie's story is a living example of that possibility.
