Meeting with Home Advisor - FBCCI wants to stop extortion, security in factories

FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam paid a courtesy call on the new Home Affairs Advisor to the Interim Government, Lt. Gen. (retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.
The courtesy meeting was held on Saturday (August 17) at the advisor's residence in Baridhara of the capital.
During the meeting, the FBCCI President discussed with the advisor various economic activities including speeding up the country's business and trade, keeping the supply chain running, keeping ports and highways running, stopping extortion on roads and highways, strengthening security in industrial factories and sought cooperation.
At this time, the Home Affairs Adviser assured that he would faithfully perform his duties for the safety of the lives and property of the people including businessmen to keep the economic activities of the country running.
Mahbubul Alam said that soon there will be a formal meeting with the Home Advisor with business representatives from various sectors.
