Dr. Foreign buyers regained confidence due to Yunus: BGMEA
Nobel Peace Prize winning economist Dr. Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) said that since Muhammad Yunus took charge as Chief Advisor to the Interim Government of Bangladesh, an excellent relationship of trust has been created among foreign buyers.
Wednesday (August 14) in the State Guest House Yamuna. BGMEA director Shobhan Islam said this while talking to reporters after meeting with Yunus.
He said, Dr. With the arrival of Muhammad Yunus, a positive environment has been created in our ready-made garment industry. An excellent relationship of trust has been developed, especially among foreign buyers. Because Dr. Yunus is a brand in itself. Because of this, despite the political turmoil of the past few days, an extreme confidence has returned. We want to exploit this and try to see how we can increase the export orders we have. Besides Dr. Mr. Yunus also assured us that he will continue to use his contacts and international media to improve the brand image of Bangladesh.
