Investors cannot transact on the mobile app DSE Chairman's order to keep the trading process smooth

The main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), was traded with a big increase in the price yesterday on Thursday. Along with the index, the transactions in this market also increased on this day. Another market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also has the same picture. But even yesterday the mobile app did not work. As a result investors could not transact using the mobile app.
They are suffering from it. It is to be noted that trading in the stock market started on Wednesday after three working days due to student agitation and violence due to quota reforms. But the mobile app is not working as the internet is not yet fully operational. In this context, the chairman of DSE. Hafiz Muhammad Hasan Babu told Ittefaq, "We have launched transactions through the local network. But transactions through the mobile app will be closed for the time being. However, DSE chairman has instructed the concerned to be more active so that the transaction activities of DSE do not face obstacles. During the inspection of DSE trading system yesterday, he gave these instructions to the officials of various departments including the overall security and uninterrupted trading operations of DSE and data center.
Meanwhile, the people associated with the market said that the fear that was working among the investors in the stock market due to the violence, is disappearing, which has a positive effect on the market. Both index and transaction increased yesterday. According to the market review, among the total 392 companies traded in DSE yesterday, 286 have increased in price, 66 have decreased and 40 have remained unchanged. In this, the main value of DSE DSEX has increased by 62 points to 5 thousand 413 points. Besides, among the other two indices, the DSE Shariah index increased by 13 points to 1,183 points compared to the previous day and the DSE-30 index consisting of 30 selected companies increased by 24 points to 1,932 points. Along with the index, trading on the DSE also increased yesterday. 497 crore 34 lakh taka was traded in DSE that day. 159 crore 37 lakh taka was traded on the previous working day. Accordingly, the transaction has increased by 337 crore 97 lakh taka.
The top 10 companies in the main stock market of the country based on the amount of money traded yesterday are: Square Pharmaceuticals, Orion Infusion, Lavello Ice Cream, Agni Systems, Sea Pearl Beach Resort, NRB Bank, Rangpur Foundry, BRAC Bank, Unilever Consumer Care and Forest Knitting.
In other market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), out of total 187 companies traded yesterday, the price of 79 increased, 89 decreased and 19 remained unchanged. In this, the overall value CASPI has increased by 56 points. 3 crore 54 lakh taka was traded in CSE on this day. 2 crore 51 lakh was traded on the previous working day.
