Indian television actress Niti Taylor has alleged that she was propositioned for a sexual relationship in exchange for acting opportunities. She recently revealed this experience—which occurred while she was working in South Indian cinema—during an interview. Additionally, the actress has accused her ex-boyfriend of physical and mental abuse.
Niti stated that she worked in South Indian films early in her career, appearing in only two movies at the time. During that period, the director of her first film offered her a role in a new project.
However, the actress alleged that the director told her over the phone that she would have to engage in a sexual relationship with him to secure the role.
Niti was shocked by the proposition; she immediately hung up the phone and blocked the director's number. She later called her mother to recount the entire incident.
According to the actress, the director was significantly older than her. Although she had seen him with other women, she had never imagined that she would be subjected to such a proposition herself.
Meanwhile, Niti Taylor also opened up about a bitter experience in her personal life. She alleged that her ex-boyfriend regularly subjected her to mental abuse. At one point, the abuse escalated to physical violence, including being slapped and having her body burned with a cigarette.
Niti stated that she decided to end the relationship after being subjected to violent behavior on the night of her ex-boyfriend's birthday.
The actress became emotional while recalling these past events. However, no statement has been obtained from the director or the ex-boyfriend regarding these allegations.
