Poet and actor Rifat Chowdhury has been suffering from health complications for a long time. After he appealed for help to cover his medical expenses, film actor Zayed Khan stepped forward to assist him by providing financial aid for his treatment.

Zayed Khan stated that he tries to stand by fellow artists in times of distress to the best of his ability. Urging other artists to come forward as well, he noted that collective support could help alleviate the financial strain faced by ailing artists during their treatment.
