Indian actress and politician Sayantika Banerjee is currently rethinking her future after her defeat in the elections. She lost from the Barahnagar constituency in the recent assembly elections, after which the star was in hiding for a while.
Later in an interview, she said that defeat does not mean the end of life - it is just an experience. She is now going through introspection and taking time to plan for the future.
However, she has not yet announced that she will leave politics completely. Rather, her words are clear that for now, she wants to focus on acting again. Although she has been away from acting due to long political engagements, she is now preparing to return to her old profession.
She said that she wants to return to the camera again after preparing herself physically and mentally.
Along with the hint of her changing position in politics, discussions have also started in the industry. Because, it has been seen that Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan have gradually distanced themselves from politics before.
Meanwhile, discussions are also going on about the recent position of Dev and Raj Chakraborty, another well-known face in the political arena.
Overall, the question that is going around in Tollywood and political circles is whether Sayantika is now leaning towards returning to acting or not.
