In a recent interview, Payal said that when she goes abroad, many people think she is looking for a husband. The actress said, "I went to America to receive an award and posted pictures on social media. Then many people assumed that I was looking for a husband!"
In this regard, she further said, "People are so interested in the personal life of an actress that no one talks about my work. That's why it seems that the modern thinking of Bengalis is getting lost somewhere."
