No student from 226 institutions passed the Dakhil examination

No student from 226 institutions participating in the 2026 Dakhil examination under the Madrasa Education Board could pass. Last year, the number of institutions that passed zero was 86.
On Monday (August 10), Education Minister Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque announced the results of the Milon Dakhil and SSC equivalent examinations. This information has emerged in the published results.
This time, a total of 1,64,797 students passed the Dakhil examination. Of these, 81,765 are male and 83,032 are female. The total pass rate in Dakhil this time is 55.49 percent. The pass rate of female students is 59.89 percent and that of male students is 51.64 percent.
This time, a total of 1,857,344 students filled the forms to participate in the SSC and equivalent examinations. Of these, 14,18,398 students filled the form for the SSC examination under the 9 general education boards, 3,4286 for the Dakhil examination under the Madrasa Education Board and 1,34,660 for the SSC (Vocational) examination under the Technical Education Board.
The written examination for SSC and its equivalent began on April 21. The written examination for the general education boards ended on May 20. On the other hand, the written examination for the Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) examinations ended on May 24.
Usually, the results are published within 60 days of the end of the written examination. Accordingly, although the results were supposed to be published on July 20, this time the results have been published about three weeks after the scheduled time.
Meanwhile, after the publication of the results, online applications can be made for re-examination of the results from August 11 to 17. The application process for re-examination and related instructions will be announced through a notification on the websites of the education boards.
