Primary schools do not open on Sundays

Primary school is not opening tomorrow. Primary schools across the country were scheduled to open tomorrow on Sunday. However, primary schools will remain closed until further notice.
The Secretary of Primary and Mass Education informed that this decision was taken considering the ongoing situation on Saturday, August 3.
The government has decided to open government primary schools from tomorrow Sunday (August 4). However, schools were supposed to open in other areas across the country except the 12 city corporations and municipal areas of Narsingdi district. But the government withdrew from that decision due to the situation. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education said that schools are not opening.
The government had announced the indefinite closure of schools and colleges across the country from July 17. The government had announced the closure of schools and colleges in view of the clashes between the law enforcement forces and the activists of the Chhatra League over the quota reform movement. After this, all the public and private universities of the country were closed.
