The procession of students came out from Sabalia of the city and passed in front of Sheikh Hasina Medical College through the district headquarter mosque and circled the various roads of the city. A group of students marched from the press club to the Ashekpur bypass of the Bangabandhu Setu-Dhaka highway via the city's old bus stand around 3:30 p.m. and blocked the highway.
