Aziz Hall Chhatra Shibir organizes inter-block short pitch tournament

The Shah Azizur Rahman Hall branch Chhatra Shibir of Islamic University has organized the inter-block short pitch cricket tournament-2025 for residential students. The tournament was inaugurated at the university's central cricket ground at 2 pm on Monday.
A total of six teams, including four blocks of the hall's National Bhaban and two blocks of the International Bhaban, participated in the tournament. Later, the final was held between the 3rd and 4th blocks of the National Bhaban and the National 2nd block at around 9:30 pm. National 2nd block emerged as the champion in the final.
The winning team was given a cash prize of two thousand taka and a trophy, and the runner-up team was given a cash prize of fifteen hundred taka and a trophy.
Later, the prize distribution ceremony was attended by the branch Chhatra Shibir president Mahmudul Hasan, office secretary Rashedul Islam Rafi, planning and development secretary Ariful Islam, hall branch president Tanjil Hossain and general secretary Nahid Hasan, and other leaders and activists.
Tanjil Hossain, president of the Hall Branch Student Camp, said, “We have organized this event to enhance mutual relations with everyone. We have received a huge response from the students of the hall. Today, the EB cricket ground has become a meeting place for students of all philosophies, including journalists, leaders of cultural and political organizations. I hope that this bond between us will remain intact until the last day of campus life.”
Mahmudul Hasan, president of the EB Branch Student Camp, said, “We need to further develop our mutual relations. The main purpose of today’s sports is to develop personal relationships. In addition, we should increase contact with the alumni of the hall, who can play a role in the overall development of the hall.”
