The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has taken initiative to quickly fill the posts of head teachers for a long time in government primary schools. This move is considered important in the improvement of the country's primary education.
The information was signed on Tuesday (July 23) in a government notice signed by Senior Information Officer Abdullah Shibli Sadiq of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
According to the notice, the role of the head teacher is very important in the management of primary education activities effectively. At present, the posts of 5,900 head teachers of the Government Primary School are vacant. This is disrupting education activities and has created a crisis in improvement.
According to the ministry data, only 1,212 are working against the posts of 5,212 authorized head teachers across the country. Of the remaining vacant terms, 2 thousand 5 terms are directly employed.
The demand for direct appointment of the remaining 2,212 posts has already been sent to the Bangladesh Government Working Commission (PSC) for direct appointment of the remaining 2,212 posts. The PSC is expected to release a notification soon.
In addition, 3 thousand 5 posts will be filled from assistant teachers through promotion. In this regard, the process of promotion will begin shortly after the settlement of the Civil Appeal case, which is currently pending.
The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education is hoping that the manpower crisis of the schools will be eliminated and the quality of education will rise to the desired level. Besides, the speed and discipline of the school will return, which will play a major role in the quality of education of the future generations.
