A miscreant attacked the shrine of Hazrat Baba Shah Satyapir late at night in Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila. At that time, the grill of the shrine was broken and some graves nearby were vandalized. When the incident became known, there was intense tension in the area.
The shrine is located in front of the BGB camp in Jagannathpur Union of Sadar Upazila. According to locals, unidentified miscreants entered the shrine in the darkness of Friday night and deliberately broke the grill. At that time, three graves adjacent to the shrine were vandalized, but the main shrine and donation box remained intact.
On Saturday (December 27) morning, worshippers who came to offer Fajr prayers at the mosque saw signs of vandalism. Tension and panic spread in the surrounding area when the news spread.

Shah Satyapir Mosque and Cemetery Committee General Secretary Maulana Azizul Islam Babul said, “When I came to offer Fajr prayers, I saw that the grill of the shrine was broken and some graves were damaged.
