On the night of October 26, the Uttara West Police Station conducted a special operation and arrested him from Uttara.

According to police sources, during the student movement, Fazle took direct part in the attack on the common students of Rabbi Islami University. Since the fall of the Awami government on August 5, he was hiding in the area of Uttara Paschim police station. It is known that during the anti-discrimination student movement, Fazle Rabbi made various posts on social media Facebook in favor of the movement from July 18. At that time, he was also seen giving a post to resign from the post of the branch Chhatra League. However, it was not confirmed that the resignation was submitted in writing.
