Tragic accident during Eid journey, three members of the same family lost their lives together

Three members of the same family lost their lives in a heartbreaking road accident on their way home for the joyous Eid holiday. The incident took place in the Mirjarkot Model Mosque area of ​​Patgram Upazila, which has cast a shadow of grief over the entire area.

Police said that Shariful Islam (35) set off for home on a motorcycle with his family on Tuesday morning. He was working in a private NGO in Patgram. He was returning to his village of Hakimpur Upazila, Alihat Union, Mansapur with his wife and children to spend the Eid holiday. But a terrible accident occurred on the way.

According to locals, when they reached Mirjarkot area, a reckless truck coming from the opposite direction hit their motorcycle. Shariful, his wife and son died on the spot. Their daughter was rescued in serious condition and was rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

Locals expressed deep shock over the incident. Such accidents during a festive season like Eid have once again raised questions about road safety. According to experts, such accidents are happening repeatedly due to reckless driving and violation of traffic laws, which requires strict vigilance and awareness to prevent.

The officer-in-charge of Patgram Police Station confirmed the matter and said that the process of taking legal action is underway immediately after the accident.
