No trace of the two schoolgirl friends who went missing from Bagra village of Chalisha union in Netrokona Sadar upazila has been found yet. 20 consecutive days have passed since they left their home on the morning of December 31, 2025; but no confirmed information has been found about their whereabouts. As time passes, the anxiety of the family and the concern of the locals are increasing.
One of the two missing girls is 14 years old and the other is 15 years old. They are residents of the same village and close friends of each other. According to family members, they left their respective homes between approximately 9:30 and 10:00 in the morning on the day of the incident. They have not been found since then.
At the time of their disappearance, both were wearing black burqas. Nadia Rahman was wearing a pink blazer over the black burqa. The other schoolgirl, Swarna, was wearing a jeans blazer over the black burqa and had a school bag on her shoulder. With this description, the family and relatives are continuing to search in all possible places.
According to family sources, neither of the two missing schoolgirls had a mobile phone. As a result, it is not possible to contact them or identify their location with the help of technology. Despite searching the homes of relatives, familiar areas and possible places nearby, no positive information has been found so far.
The family of the missing has filed two separate general diaries (GD No. 40 and 42) with Netrokona Police Station in this incident. However, the relevant sources said that due to the lack of sufficient technical information, there is no significant progress in the investigation. This has increased the anxiety of the family.
The shadow of grief and panic has fallen on the entire Bagra village due to the long-term disappearance of the two schoolgirls. The atmosphere of the area has become heavy with the cries of family members and the wailing of relatives. The family and the locals have sought the cooperation of law enforcement agencies and people from all walks of life to quickly rescue the two missing girls.
If anyone has any information about the two missing schoolgirls, they are specifically requested to contact the nearest police station or the family.
