Students fled Dhaka University campus in the face of firing, University Chhatra League President Mazharul Kabir Sayan and General Secretary Tanveer Hasan Saikat, all involved in the attack fled. DU students said that General Secretary Tanveer Hasan Saikat fled the campus this morning after ordering the activists to go to safe shelter. After some time, DU Chhatra League president Mazharul Kabir Shayan ran away from the campus.

Meanwhile, this morning, students agitating for quota reform vandalized the office of the president and general secretary of DU Chhatra League. At this time, this weapon was found from room No. 344 of Suryasen Hall.

A firearm was recovered from the dormitory, the students said.

The students will hold a ``Gaybana Janaza and Coffin March'' on Wednesday in protest against the brutal attacks by the police and Chhatra League on the agitators demanding quota reforms across the country. This program will be celebrated at the foot of Raju sculpture of Dhaka University at 2 pm.
