Panchagarh fined 20,000 rupees in campaign against polythene declared banned

On the basis of secret information, a mobile court was conducted against the banned polythene in the premises of Setara filling station located in Dakkamara area of Sadar Upazila of Panchagarh district. At that time, 02 (two) traders were fined 20,000/-(twenty thousand) and 300 (three hundred) kg of banned polythene was seized for the crime of transporting banned polythene for commercial purposes.

Panchagarh district administration, its senior assistant commissioner and learned executive magistrate Md Imranuzzaman led the operation of the mobile court and Environment Directorate, Panchagarh district office assistant director Md Yusuf Ali served as the prosecutor. A group of members of Panchagarh District Police, Panchagarh fully cooperated during the operation of the mobile court. Such campaign against banned polythene will continue.
