In Kurigram, an old man was allegedly beaten to death over a trivial incident

A 90-year-old man named Bachir Uddin was allegedly beaten to death over a trivial incident in Roumari, Kurigram. In this incident, the police arrested the neighbor of the old man, the nephew Nur Alam.
The incident took place on Tuesday (September 10) morning in Kaunia Char village of Datbhanga Union of Roumari Upazila.
According to the locals, the old man Bachir Uddin died on the spot when Nure Alam punched him during an argument in the morning due to the old man's loud voice.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Roumari Police Station Golam Mortuza admitted the truth of the incident and said that the accused should be arrested. The case is being prepared in this case.
