Taksim was free from Dhaka

Finally, Dhaka WASA was freed by the resignation of Taksim A Khan, the 7-time managing director of Dhaka WASA.
After the resignation of the Sheikh Hasina government in the face of the anti-discrimination student movement, there are signs of resignation in the Awami League nominated positions. Many are resigning voluntarily but some are resigning under compulsion. Dhaka WASA Managing Director Taksim A Khan has resigned.
He is said to have sent the resignation letter on Wednesday, August 14 through e-mail.
According to WASA sources, Taksim A Khan stated in his resignation letter that he was unable to perform the duties of managing director of WASA due to illness.
In 2009, Taksim A Khan was appointed as Managing Director of Dhaka Wasa for the first time. After that, his tenure gradually increased. He was appointed for another three years for the seventh time in August last year. After the resignation of Sheikh Hasina on August 5, Taksim A Khan has not come to his office for a single day. It is not known for sure whether he is in the country or has gone abroad.
Taksim A Khan, his wife and children are US citizens. So many think that he may have migrated to the United States.
