Loan checks handed over to beneficiaries of the Sufal project in Sakhipur!

The second installment of loan checks has been handed over to the beneficiary members under the Sufal project at Kalidas Bit in Hotaya Range of Sakhipur Upazila of Tangail.
The checks were distributed to the beneficiaries at Kalidas Bit premises around 11 am on Wednesday. 30 members have received this loan facility under the Sustainable Forest and Livelihood (Sufal) project. Members who have repaid their previous loans have been given checks of 60 thousand taka each in the second installment.
"We are continuing this loan program with the aim of making the beneficiaries self-reliant. I hope they will use this money appropriately."
The program was presided over by Hotaya Range Officer SM A. Rashid. Divisional Forest Officer Dr. Abu Naser Mohsin Hossain was the chief guest. Assistant Conservator of Forests Md. Abu Saleh, Kalidas Bit Officer Md. Masum Uddin Ahmed and the beneficiaries of the Sufal project.
"Our main objective is to improve the livelihood of people with forests. We want to help more people through this project."
The beneficiaries will be able to carry out various income-generating activities through this loan facility of the Sufal project. Those concerned believe that this will play an important role in their socio-economic development.
