Law enforcement officials also not exempted from ‘Devil Hunt’: Home Affairs Advisor

Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (retd.) said, ‘Those who are devils will be caught in the Devil Hunt. Law enforcement officials also were not exempted. The operation will continue until the devil is freed.’
He made these comments while talking to reporters after exchanging views with various forces on the law and order situation at the Rajshahi District Commissioner’s Office on Monday afternoon.
Jahangir Alam Chowdhury also said, ‘Several committees have been formed and appropriate measures have been taken to ensure that no innocent person is punished in Operation Devil Hunt.’
The Home Affairs Advisor said, ‘The prices of daily necessities will remain bearable during Ramadan. The supply of chickpeas and dates is good, which is positive for the market. Praising the role of the people of Chapainawabganj against Indian aggression on the border, he said, "We are happy with this, but everyone must be careful not to take the law into their own hands."
Senior police officers, senior officers of the army, BGB, and RAB on duty in Rajshahi were present at the meeting.
