BDR members' testimony in explosives case underway!

Former BDR members are being heard in the case filed under the Explosives Act in the Dhaka Peelkhana murder case. The bail hearing of the case will be held at the special court set up at the central prison in Keraniganj on Monday after the testimony. Meanwhile, the relatives of more than three hundred BDR members who were not granted bail have been standing in front of the central prison since morning.
The BDR members were brought to the court under heavy guard after 9:30 am. At that time, their relatives waved their hands and greeted them. Two cases were filed under the murder and Explosives Act in connection with the brutal and brutal murder at the then BDR headquarters in Peelkhana. Earlier, on January 23, 168 BDR members were granted bail under the Explosives Act after 16 long years.
The trial against 834 accused in the Explosives Act case began in 2010. But in the middle of the proceedings, the state party suspended the proceedings of the explosives case and presented only the evidence of the murder case. Due to which the trial of this case was delayed.
Incidentally, on February 25 and 26, 2009, 74 people, including 57 army officers, were killed in a mutiny at the Border Guard Headquarters in Peelkhana, Dhaka. Two cases were filed in that incident under the Murder and Explosives Acts.
