Joint Force Operation: 4 AL leaders including UP Chairman arrested in Hatia!

Joint forces conducted a drive in Noakhali Hatia and arrested four people including the former UP Chairman and Union Awami League President. They were arrested in various areas of the upazila on Saturday (February 8) night.
The arrested are:
Former Chairman of Char Ishwar Union Parishad No. 5 Alauddin Azad (64),
Sirajul Islam Prakash Rakchan (24), son of Mohin Uddin of Tamruddi Union,
Abdul Majed Palash (43), son of Haji Abdul Qayyum,
Abdul Zaher (39).
According to the operation sources, members of the joint force conducted a drive in Noakhali Hatia Upazila and arrested former Chairman of Char Ishwar Union Parishad No. 5 Alauddin Azad from Ward No. 2 of Ochkhali Puran Bazar. Sirajul Islam, Abdul Majed Palash and Abdul Zaher were then arrested from Khaserhat area of Ward No. 9 of Tamruddi Union in Hatia Upazila.
Hatia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AKM Ajmal Huda confirmed the incident. He said, “Legal action is under process in this regard.” At the same time, the joint operation of the Coast Guard, Naval Police and Police is continuing.
