Journalist Shafiq Rehman has commented that Khaleda Zia is the first female Bir Shrestha of Bangladesh. He said, "I can say without hesitation that Khaleda Zia is the first female Bir Shrestha of Bangladesh." He made this comment at a recent press conference.
Shafiq Rehman sharply criticized Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in his speech. He said, "Sheikh Hasina is the most hated person in the country. Not only Sheikh Hasina, but her entire family is hated." Highlighting the stark difference between the two leaders, he said, "Hasina was forced to flee the country after being the Prime Minister for 15 consecutive years through fake elections, while Khaleda Zia publicly went to London for medical treatment on a royal plane."
Shafiq Rehman further said, "There was not a single person at the airport to bid farewell to Sheikh Hasina, but crowds poured from her house to the airport to bid farewell to Khaleda Zia, causing traffic jams in almost all parts of the capital."
He claimed, "Sheikh Hasina will not be able to go to America either. Recently, an investigation is underway against her sister Rehana and her daughter Tulip Siddiqui. Tulip is a powerful Labor Party member there. With the help of her aunt Hasina, she has been involved in various misdeeds and corruption."
At that time, Shafiq Rehman complained about the extent of corruption in the Sheikh family in his speech, saying, "The corruption of the Sheikh family has spread not only in Bangladesh, but also to Europe and Britain.
