In order to save electricity, the Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources has been instructed not to use AC as much as possible.
The Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources informed this information in an office order on Monday (October 28).
According to the order, there is a shortage of energy and electricity supply in the country. In this context, in the upcoming winter season (November-February), the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has given instructions to avoid the use of air conditioners as much as possible. As a result, it will be possible to increase electricity supply for irrigation, fertilizer production and gas supply to industrial plants.
Meanwhile, a similar order has been given to the officials of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges.
Earlier, all ministries were directed by the government to take necessary measures to reduce electricity consumption by 25 percent. Energy and Power Advisor Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan sought everyone's cooperation in this regard.
