After August 5, 187 policemen including DIG SP are missing

After the fall of the Awami League government in the face of anti-discrimination student movement, 187 policemen including DIG SP are absent from work.
The police headquarters informed this information in a press release on Tuesday (September 17) evening.
According to the police headquarters, 187 members of the Bangladesh Police are absent from the workplace from August 1 to today (September 17). Among them are one DIG, 7 Additional DIGs, 2 Superintendents of Police, 1 Additional Superintendent of Police, 5 Assistant Superintendents of Police, 5 Inspectors of Police, 14 SIs and Sergeants, 9 ASIs, 7 Naiks and 136 Constables.
Out of 187 policemen, 96 are absent on leave, 49 are absent from duty, three are absent from duty by voluntary resignation and 39 are absent from duty due to other reasons.
