The policeman's name is Arafat Hossain. The house of this Inspector of Dhaka District North Intelligence Police is in Barishal. He studied in the Department of Geography and Environment, Jagannath University.

It has been found that Arafat's father Md. Arif Hossain is a retired headmaster of Badratuni Secondary School and former president of Harinathpur Union Awami League.
