Tarek Rahman's wife Dr. Zobaida Rahman's sentence suspended

In a 2007 case of the capital's Kafrul police station, BNP acting chairman Tarek Rahman's wife Dr. The government has suspended the sentence given by the court to Zobaida Rahman for one year.
The suspension order was issued on Sunday in a notification signed by Mohammad Abu Saeed Mollah, Deputy Secretary of Security Services Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
It is said in the announcement, Dr. In the light of the appeal filed by Zobaida Rahman regarding the stay of sentence and the opinion of the Law and Judiciary Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, the appeal surrendered to the Court under the powers provided in Section 401(1) of The Code of Criminal Procedure, (Act No. V of 1898). The sentence was suspended by a presidential order for one year as a condition of filing.
