Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan said in a press conference organized on the occasion of National Youth Day celebration at the secretariat of his ministry on Wednesday (October 30) in the meeting room of his ministry.
The advisor said, although the target is to take 700 students, initially 300-400 students will be taken for traffic control.
Asif Mahmud said, they will work at important points of the capital. There is heavy traffic in the morning and afternoon, so they will work for 4 hours. Students will be considered for permanency upon completion of their studies if they are interested.
He also said that the government will need more money if it is taken full time. If taken as part time, students are also provided with income.
In many developed countries of the world, students are given opportunities for various government jobs.
